Cold white day...
Snow falls like a scene from a holiday movie.
To the mailbox I trudge, heart heavy
Why do I open it? What do I think I'll find?
Do I really think someone loves me?
Do I really think someone cares?
It's 2 days past Valentine's Day
And from everyone I've heard nothing.
I open the mailbox with a heavy heart
Which is cheered!!! by the sight I see
A card! A Valentine's Day card for me!
"From the offices of your family dentist; Dr. R. Smith." it
reads
"Have a Happy Valentine's Day! We looooove your smile!
Remember to keep your next 4/15 2:00 p.m
appointment.
Thank you! Someone cares!
